Amino has announced new management and board appointments.
The Cambridge-based IPTV technology supplier also delivered financial results in line with expectations. It recorded pre-tax profits 10 per cent ahead of the previous year at €11.2 million.
The company said it had achieved the rise despite what it described as “industry component pricing headwinds”.
Two non-executive directors have been appointed to the Amino board. Steve McKay, who over the past 16 years has held senior positions at both Amino and Entone joins the main board. McKay, who has been instrumental in the integration of the two companies will now step down from his role as global head of sales.
Following an interim role in 2016 heading up Amino’s video delivery platform team and an ongoing consultancy role with the Company, Michael Clegg has also been appointed to the board. Clegg’s industry experience includes senior roles at global networking company Netgear, Entrisphere, Fujitsu and Westell Technologies.
David Perez has been appointed Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing and Joachim Bergman as Senior Vice President of Cloud Services, both joining the Company’s executive management team.
Perez, joined the Company in January 2018, from IoT SAAS provider Intamac Systems, where he was CEO.
Bergman joined Amino in September 2017 as Senior Vice President of Cloud Services, taking responsibility for Amino’s MOVE platform. Joachim has more than 20 years’ experience in the telecoms and media sector, principally at Ericsson where he held a variety of senior roles in video service delivery for major operators.
