Edyta Sadowska has been appointed the new head of the programming division at the Polish DTH platform nc+, effective March 6.
In her new role, she will be responsible for nc+’s programming strategy, the development of its own channels, local productions, external channels and strategic business partnerships. She will also become a member of the management board at nc+.
Commenting on the appointment, Manuel Rougeron, president of the board and general director at nc+, said: “nc+’s programme offer is a is a key area of our activity in the context of an increasingly competitive market. The role of the head of the programming division is absolutely key within our top management. Edyta’s tasks will focus on ensuring strong cooperation, especially with our mother companies and shareholders, the Canal + Group and TVN, so that we can use our international experience as well as the most important players on the Polish market. I believe that Edyta’s experience and charisma will help us continue to provide our clients with the best entertainment and innovative content in the highest possible quality and form”.
Sadowska added: “nc + is a thriving company. These are great television and cinema productions, which often set new trends, the latest technologies, and a wide distribution platform … personally, I am a loyal fan of “Belfra”, therefore I was happy with the nc + proposal, but professionally it is a challenge that I have been waiting for”.
Sadowka has many years of managerial experience, most recently as president of Ringier Axel Springer in Poland.
