The new on demand service FOX+ has made its Central and East European debut on Magyar Telekom in Hungary.
FOX+ is operated by Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa and has been included in MoziKlub as a separate, easily recognisable library. Subscribers can receive it on various devices including TV (via a seamless integration with the Telekom set-top box), mobile, tablet and web.
Commenting on the launch. Carlos Ortega, executive VP of Fox Networks Group Central and Eastern Europe, said: “We are excited to start FOX+ in Hungary, partnering with Magyar Telekom on this new launch. This is a great milestone because our new on-demand service will be launching in Hungary for the first time in the Central and Eastern European region. Our strategy is to bring premium content and iconic series to as many viewers as possible. With FOX+ viewers will have full flexibility to access the great and extensive series content of the 21CF Studios On-Demand”.
Zoltán Pereszlényi, residential marketing director at Magyar Telekom, added: “We are pleased that again we can offer a content for our customers choosing Telekom’s TV service that is unique on the market. We regard it as a great achievement that Magyar Telekom’s more than 100,000 MoziKlub subscribers have the opportunity to become familiar with FOX+ first in the region.”
FOX+ is initially offering viewers a number of series including The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Outcast, Legion and Wayward Pines.
