TF1 has signed a global distribution agreement with Bouygues Telecom that integrates the TF1 premium offer and additional services.
Included in the agreement are the five free-to-air channels under the TF1 umbrella; an enhanced MYTF1 service that includes previews of selected programmes; series stacking beyond the seven-days normally associated with the broadcaster’s channels; and new associated services across all formats.
Bouygues will also be able to show TF1’s 4K coverage of World Cup 2018 from Russia.
TF1 chairman Gilles Pélisson said: ” This agreement with Bouygues Telecom after the agreement with Altice-SFR, a major step forward in the relationship between publishers and distributors. I am very pleased that our groups have worked in the interests of fairness between the parties always keeping in mind the interests of consumers . ”
In parallel, the two groups have renewed their distribution agreements for premium channels with the TF1 Group: History, TV Breizh and Ushuaia TV.
