Former MXI CEO Avi Cohen has resurfaced on the board of technology and media services company Piksel.
Cohen left MX1 in October following a legal battle between new owners SES and former employees of RR Media. Before that Mr Cohen was CEO of RR Media and had also been the as President and CEO of Orbit Technologies Ltd.
“Avi is an experienced operator in our industry and we are excited to welcome him to Piksel’s board of directors,” said Bill Russell, Piksel’s non-executive chairman. “We believe his background, especially in helping global technology companies to achieve profitable growth, will be extremely valuable as Piksel continues to grow. We expect Avi to make a strong contribution to the continued success of Piksel.”
Piksel’s primary product is the Piksel Palette video platform, launched in the second half of 2015.
