Pavel Stantchev has been appointed CEO of TF1 Distribution.
In his new role, effective January 22, he will report to Régis Ravanas, executive VP, advertising & diversification of the TF1 group, and be supported by Stéphane Cadoch (associate director with responsibility for marketing the TF1 group’s channels and non-linear services), Olivia Papon (head of international advertising) and their colleagues.
He will be responsible for the marketing the TF1 group’s channels and non-linear services to distribution platforms in France, and marketing the channels in Belgium and Switzerland; and developing the TF1 group’s assets internationally, working with the Strategy, Development and Transformation Division in a bid to conquer new markets.
Stantchev has over 20 years’ experience in major international media groups: RTL Group, HBO, Dogan Media Group, and Ringier AG (Switzerland). More recently, he was CEO at bTV Media Group, Bulgaria’s leading private-sector national TV channel, before which he was CEO South East Europe at Antenna Group, the biggest Greek media group.
