Poland’s fifth largest cable operator Toya has acquired a 100% stake in the Krakow-based ISP S-Net for an undisclosed fee.
In a statement, Toya says that an agreement to buy S-Net was signed last month. It adds that S-Net provides internet and cloud-based services for business clients in Krakow, owning a network that covers the entire city.
Following the acquisition, S-Net’s management will remain in place and the company will continue to carry out its plans. Toya, which is based in Lodz, has been present in Krakow for around a year and currently offers quad-play services in a third of the city.
By acquiring S-Net, it will not only increase the scale of its business but also its reach and network build for individual subscribers.
With S-Net, Toya now has a 500km fibre network in the city.
