The Romanian cable operator AKTA has an investment budget of €10 million for this year.
According to ZF, it will be allocated mostly to expanding its communications infrastructure and small acquisitions.
AKTA also plans to promote packages that include fixed and mobile services and to launch a new TV station.
AKTA is the largest independent player in Romania’s cable market, providing services on a regional basis. It effectively operates as two companies, namely Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and AKTA Telecom.
AKTA is majority owned by the investment fund Pinebridge, which last year was understood to be interested in selling its stake in the company.
