SPI International’s Filmbox movie channel now reaches nearly 2 million viewers in the Czech Republic.
This gives it the biggest penetration among all pay-TV channels in the Czech market and follows its addition to Skylink’s digital package on January 22.
Skylink, which is the largest DTH platform in the Czech Republic, has around 1 million susbcribers in the country as well as nearly 600,000 in neighbouring Slovakia.
Filmbox also recently gained an additional 200,000 subscribers on cable and IPTV networks in the Czech Republic.
Aside from Filmbox, SPI also distributes the channels FilmBox Premium HD, FilmBox Extra HD, FilmBox Plus, FilmBox Family, FilmBox Art House, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, FashionBox HD, Fast&FunBox HD, 360TuneBox, Erox HD and Eroxxx HD in the Czech Republic.
