The Czech national transmission company CRa now reaches 97.6% of households in the country with its transitional DVB-T2 network.
It has also added Nova, Nova Cinema and CT:D/CT art to its line-up, which now consists of 18 TV channels.
According to Martin Gebauer, the CEO of CRa, DVB-T2 will cover the 99% of the Czech Republic this year, which is the same or even better than current terrestrial TV broadcasts.
Terrestrial TV services are watched by around 60% of homes in the country and are the only ones that are free to view.
