Flix TV to extend viewer-selected offer

January 22, 2018 08.50 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech DTH platform Flix TV will extend its offer of viewer-selected channels this February.

According to the company, it is preparing the changes in accordance with the results of an opinion poll it is conducting among its subscribers. Launched last week, it asks them to choose from 16 TV channels of different genres.

They are also asked which of the channels they would like to watch in HD.

The channels include CT2, Nova Sport 2, Sport 1 and CT:D/CT art, and the results of the opinion poll will be published in social networks.

Flix TV notes that it first polled its subscribers last summer, when they overwhelmingly opted for the inclusion on Prima Max in the channel line-up.

Flix TV currently offers viewers hundreds of channels, 29 of which are in HD, in the Czech Republic.

The service was launched in the Czech Republic in March 2016 and also became available in neighbouring Slovakia, with its complete offer, in October 2017.
