The interactive eSports channel Gametoon has been launched in Poland on Inea.
Inea, which is based in the city of Lodz and one of the country’s largest cable operators, is making the service, which is developed by SPI International/Filmbox, available to all its subscribers who have a HD cable box.
Commenting on the development, Berk Uziyel, executive director of SPI International/Filmbox, said: “the launch of Gametoon on Inea gives Polish viewers access to some of the great gaming and eSports programming which aims at reconnecting young generations of viewers to television”.
Gametoon HD is distributed in Poland by Kino Polska TV, an SPI International subsidiary which also operates several movie and thematic channels carried by all major platforms and cable networks in Poland and throughout the CEE region.
