Ukraine reveals most popular IPTV/OTT channels

1+1, Ukraina and ICTV were the most viewed entertainment and information channels among IPTV/OTT users in November 2017.

According to research published by the regulator National Council and Big Data Ua, STB, Noviy, K1, 2+2 and TET were the most viewed entertainment channels, while PlusPlus, Piksel TV, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Volia Cine+ Kids HD were the most viewed children’s channels.

Mega, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild and Viasat History topped the documentary list, as did Fox, TV1000 Action, Enter-Film, TV1000 Comedy and TV1000 East for film channels.

M1, Music Box UA and EUMusic were the most popular music channelsl and Fuboil1, Futbol2 and Europsort 1 topped the sports list.

The survey covered households connected to the IPTV/OTT operators Volia, Triolan and you tv.

For the first time, it looked at households that had viewed such services for the past 90 days.

In November, the number of such households stood at 211,700.
