The Czech Republic’s TV Nova has agreed for all five of its channels to be distributed by the DVB-T2 transitional multiplex (PS13) operated by the company Digital Broadcasting.
According to Parabola, the addition of the channels – TV Nova, Nova Action, Nova Gold, Nova 2 and Nova Cinema – has come alongside the reach of PS13 being extended to 33.1% of the Czech population.
It adds that PS13 currently employs six transmitters, three of which are in Prague, two in Brno and one in Ostrava.
Quoting Radim Parizek, the executive director of Digital Broadcasting, it says that another nine will be added shortly, increasing the multiplex’s reach to 58.3% of the Czech population.
