UPC has launched a new portfolio of internet services in the Czech Republic.
As of Monday, January 8, the minimum connection it is offering for its customers is 150Mbps, up from the previous 100Mbs. Meanwhile, its 240Mbps offer has been upgraded to 300Mps, and the maximum 500Mbps stays the same.
Customers who order the 300Mbsp or 500Mbps product will now also receive Horizon GO and TV Start, including back view, within the tariff. However, as these changes entail investment in network infrastructure, the cost of all tariffs has been increased by CZK30 (€1.17) a month.
UPC has introduced a special offer that will see all customers who subscribe to internet and TV between January 8 to April 30 receive faster internet speeds for six months. Likewise, those who order internet and TV between January 8 and 18 will receive all services free of charge for three months.
UPC also notes that the amount of data transferred on its network is growing significantly. It amounted to 620 million GB in 2017, or 23% more than the previous year, and should exceed 700 Mbps in 2018.
