Members of TVN’s board of directors have met with Witold Kolodziejski, the head of Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) to discuss a controversial fine imposed on the station earlier this month.
In a short statement, the regulator says the meeting took place last Friday (December 15) and that talks will continue.
It also says that the two parties have agreed that they will abstain from comments to the media.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, the fine, amounting to around €352,000, drew strong criticism and has even been questioned by the US’s Department of State.
The KRRiT has previously said that TVN, which is owned by Scripps Networks Interactive, can appeal against the fine.
