December 14, 2017 13.14 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German pay-TV channels Romance TV and GoldStar TV have joined OTT platform Amazon Channels.

The offers comprise both the linear TV channels as live-streams and on-demand content.

Romance TV is available in HD quality for €2.99 per month while GoldStar TV costs €1.99 per month in SD resolution. Both channels can be tested free of charge for 14 days.

Access is through the Prime Video app on smart TV sets, on smartphones and tablets (iOS/Android), Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV stick and Fire tablets as well as online at www.amazon.de/channels/romancetv and www.amazon.de/channels/goldstartv.

To sign up, viewers have to be Amazon Prime customers which costs €69 per year.

Romance TV focuses on a female audience with series, telenovelas and made-for-TV movies while GoldStar TV targets German-language music (“Schlager”) fans. Both channels are operated by Munich-based media company Mainstream Media AG.
