New premium service for Channel Five

December 13, 2017 11.58 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The UK’s Channel Five will launch a new premium channel named 5Prime on January 16.

It will offer factual series, documentaries and dramas, featuring first-run originals alongside content and spin-offs of its most popular programmes.

5Prime will be available on Freeview/BT TV/TalkTalk TV, Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat.

5Prime will replace the channel My5 on all platforms, though the latter will continue as the broadcaster’s catch-up and box-set service.
