TV ad spend in Romania is expected to grow by 12% this year, according to the media agency Initiative.
Quoting the agency, Business Review reports that this is up from the 10% its Media Fact Book 2017 forecast when published at the beginning of the summer.
It will amount to €268 million, with the total media market being worth €407 million.
At the same time, the online market will be worth €72 million (+12%), while radio (+15%) will enjoy the biggest growth.
Looking forward to 2018, TV spend is projected to increase by 15% to €309 million and online by 13% to €82 million.
TV will increase its total share by one percentage point to 67%.
It will be followed by online (18%), OOH (7%), radio (6%) and print (2%).
