Alexander Semiyadchenko has been appointed the general producer for news media at Media Group Ukraine (MGU), effective December 14.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the development of a single news platform known as ‘Today’ and the coordination and interaction of editorial teams within the group.
Semiyadchenko was most recently at ICTV, where he was one of the founders of information and publicity broadcasting at the channel.
At MGU he has replaced Alexei Mustafin, who has left the company to pursue an independent career in the industry.
MGU is one of the leading broadcasters in Ukraine.
Its portfolio includes the channels Ukraina, NLO TV and Indigo TV, along with Fulbol 1 and Futbol 2.
