Vimeo has added HDR support to its video service, the company announced on its blog.
Users will be able to upload HDR videos in up to 8K, and the service also supports 10-bit video and a wider colour gamut.
Vimeo says all of its HDR videos will be available on the newest mobile devices with an HDR display, including support across Apple’s latest devices, iPhone X, iPad Pro, and Apple TV 4K.
Vimeo now supports three new technologies: resolutions up to 8K, HDR, and 10-bit color. Vimeo users can upload content in HDR and 10-bit color through all the usual means, including the Vimeo integration in Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro, and Dropbox.
