Sorin Grindeanu has been appointed the president of the Romanian regulator ANCOM for the remaining period of the six-year mandate that commenced on May 11.
Grindeanu was most recently the PM of Romania from January – June this year, prior to which, between 2012-2016, as a Timis deputy, he was a member of the Commission for Communications and Information Technology, and subsequently Ministry of Communications.
