Deutsche Telekom has won 65,000 new customers for its IPTV platform Entertain TV in Q3 2017.
The total customer figure rose by 2.1% to 3.089 million. The increase in Q3 2017 is slightly lower than in Q2 2017 in which 69,000 new customers were added.
In the past 12 months, Entertain TV’s total customer number climbed by 9.6%.
The German telco also increased its customer figure for broadband internet access. 700,000 new fibre-optic based connections (FTTC/Vectoring, FTTH) were added, driving the total number of connections to 8.9 million – 45% more than 12 months ago.
28.8 million households can now access fibre-optic based products, an increase by 15% compared with 12 months ago.
