The Moldovan regulator ANRCETI has provided details of amendments to the country’s Law on Electronic Communications.
In effect since October 27, they aim to simplify the regulation of areas overseen by the regulator, as well as streamline regulations in – amongst others – the granting, suspension and withdrawal of licences.
The amendments reduce the terms of the general authorisation procedure for the provision of electronic communications networks and services.
They also streamline the procedure for obtaining general authorisation, with applicants being required to give ANRCETI at least 15 days notice prior to the commencement of any activity in the electronic communications sphere.
