Russia’ s leading telco Rostelecom ended the third quarter with 9.7 million pay-TV subscribers, or 5% more than in the same period last year.
Of these, almost half (4.7 million, +16%) opted for IPTV. Meanwhile, its broadband subscriber total stood at 12.7 million (+3%).
The B2B base grew by 4% to 11.9 million, while the number of subscribers connected by fibre-optic increased by 10% year-on-year to 7.6 million, or 64% of the subscriber base.
Rostelecom also had 0.7 million customers for its recently introduced MVNO offer.
Rostelecom’s revenues in Q3 amounted to R75,614 million (€1, 113 million, +4% year-on-year), with OIDBA at R24,995 million (0%) and net income R3,905 million (-4%).
