German music channel GoldStar TV further prepares for the withdrawal of its channel by Sky Deutschland on October 31, 2017 and has won two new distribution partners.
From November 1, 2017, GoldStar TV will be carried on OTT platforms Zattoo and Mobile2Morrow (M2M TV).
At Zattoo, new customers will receive the pay-TV channel one month for free; reception will cost €2.99 per month afterwards. The subscription can be cancelled monthly. GoldStar TV will be available through Zattoo in Germany and Switzerland.
At M2M TV, GoldStar TV will also cost €2.99 per month. There will also be a free-of-charge trial month. Reception will be possible in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
GoldStar TV will also be carried on IPTV platform waipu.tv from November 1, 2017.
The reason for the new distribution agreements is the non-renewal of GoldStar TV’s carriage deal with Sky Deutschland. The German pay-TV broadcaster used to offer the channel exclusively on its platform.
[UPDATE] December 1, 2017 GoldStar TV is now also available on OTT platform TV Spielfilm live. The channel forms part of the premium subscription package costing €9.99 per month. The first month is free of charge.
