The Romanian telco Digi has secured a short-term loan of €200 million.
ZF reports that €140 million has already been allocated towards the acquisition of Hungary’s Invitel, which was undertaken this summer.
The remaining €60 million has been allocated for general corporate purposes.
The loan was obtained with assistance from the law firm PeliFilip.
Although it has a maturity of 12 months, it can be extended up to six times for a further 12 months.
Digi is the leading cable and DTH operator in Romania.
