Ukraine’s largest cable operator Volia has added Filmbox OnDemand to its SVOD service Volia Cinema.
Volia already carries seven linear channels from the SPI/Filmbox portfolio including FilmBox HD, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, Fast&FunBox HD, FashionBox HD and 360 TuneBox.
Commenting on the development, Murat Muratoglu, SPI International/Filmbox head of distribution for MENA, Turkey, APAC, Russia and CIS, Baltics, Bulgaria and Ex-Yugo, said: “We are excited to extend our programming offer beyond the traditional linear channels by launching Filmbox OnDemand service for Volia’s viewers in Ukraine.
