TiVo’s EVP and COO Pete Thompson is joining Amazon as vice president of Alexa Voice Services.
Thompson left his position at Tivo suddenly last week and has started the new job on Monday, October 9.
Thompson joined TiVo, the named Rovi, in August 2016, replacing John Burke, and tasked with overseeing the product integration activities after Rovi and Tivo wrapped up their merger in September 2016.
