The Czech IPTV service O2 TV is to introduce a new UI for its customers.
Known as Moje Menu (‘My Menu’), it will gradually be rolled out O2 TV’s subscriber base, starting on Monday, October 9. The feature has been developed from anonymous user data behaviour for 120,000 set-top boxes.
Commenting on Moje Menu, O2 TV’s director David Duron said: “Our intention was to simplify O2 TV’s customer orientation in a great deal of hours of content, to introduce them to the best channels they had not been watching so far.
All you have to do is just let the customer know where they have to click for the appropriate category. For example, movies in the Best Movies or Comedy category are ranked according to the ratings of millions of viewers”.
The first subscribers to be introduced to Moje Menu will be those who receive the O2 TV XL package.
They will be followed by those who opt for O2 TV L, O2 TV and O2 TV HBO, with the last customers receiving Moje Menu in November.
