Industry veteran Simon Pollock has launched Simon Pollock & Co., specialising in senior level executive search in global media and entertainment.
“If you operate in the media sector in any country in the world and need to appoint senior executives, I and my colleagues will find them. No one knows more about who’s who and what’s what in media than we do,” said Pollock.
Simon has spent the past twenty-five years in senior roles for two Hollywood studios, Disney and Sony, as well as nine years with A&E Networks, establishing their London office and spearheading the launch of The History Channel throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Most recently he was Head of Practice, Media and Entertainment at leading search firm Heidrick & Struggles.
Pollock will work closely with Stephen Buchanan, managing director of Research Europe. Stephen and his team at Research Europe support Simon Pollock & Co. in providing comprehensive research support on assignments.
Buchanan has over twenty years’ experience in executive search, working in 45 countries around the world and was head of research at two London-based executive search firms in the late 1990s and early 2000s at a time of tremendous change and convergence in the technology, media and telecom sector.
