Streaming company Roku has said it will place $219 million worth of shares on the market when it debuts on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday.
This places a value on Roku of $1.3 billion. To date it has raised $200 million in funding.
The hardware to software company will list on NASDAQ under the ‘ROKU’ ticker symbol.
Roku’s revenues are weighted towards the hardware side of the business. In the six months to June 30, 2017, Roku made $117,329 from its hardware business, compared to $82,391 from the platform.
