The Czech public broadcaster Ceske Televize (CT) is preparing to move to the DVB-T2 standard.
According to Parabola, it will launch a transition multiplex in conjunction with Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) and Digital Broadcasting.
Quoting Karolina Blinková, CT’s spokeswoman, it adds that the transmission network start-up plan has not yet been finalised as talks with the TV providers are still ongoing.
The transition multiplex will contain the channels CT 1 HD, CT 2 HD, CT sport HD, CT 24 HD and CT: D HD/CT art HD.
Its HD channels will remain on the transition multiplex until it launches its final DVB-T2 miltiplex on July 1, 2020.
