The Latvian cable operator Baltcom has launched a new interactive TV platform.
Described by the company’s chairman of the board Nicolas Boissin as the most advanced such service in the country, Interactive 3.0 can be accessed on TVs and via an internet TV app in both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
The platform, which has been developed in cooperation with SmartLabs, offers viewers over 100 TV channels and the Megogo online movie service. It can be received in areas covered Baltcom’s fibre-optic network.
Boisson added: “Our goal in designing a new television platform was to create a comfortably transparent, easy-to-understand and up-to-date product, which, in keeping with technological developments and trends, could be further developed. Together with experienced TV platform developers, we have created a future product that delivers outstanding service today.”
