The Satellite Evolution Group has today (September 14) at IBC announced the launch of the Satellite Industry Forum, an exclusive networking site dedicated to all things satellite.
Designed to be a one-stop, easy-access hub for social networking, staying on top of the latest news and trends and partaking in discussions on key topics, the forum will be an expansion to Satellite Evolution’s current satellite publications.
According to Richard Hooper, publisher at Satellite Evolution Group, “There is currently no secure forum dedicated exclusively to satellite executives and industry members, which is why the Satellite Industry Forum is so important.
“This site will allow those from big and small companies to meet, generate leads and share news, enhancing their contacts and knowledge.”
The top news stories and relevant events will be uploaded daily, as well as the latest technological developments in related fields, keeping members up to date from one central site. Members will be encouraged to participate in all areas, from posting questions, commenting on discussion threads, or sharing the latest case studies and research.
To ensure that the site is only used by those inside the satellite industry, Satellite Evolution will register each applicant to be certain they are relevant to the corresponding discussion groups.
Hooper continued: “We hope that members will enjoy using the forum and contribute to its growth in the coming months to create a community that all satellite insiders can consider a valuable resource”.
