Viasat Ukraine has signed a multi-year agreement with SES for distribution of its services on Astra 4A.
Under it, Vision TV will broadcast around 40 pay-TV channels, of which 13 are in HD, and some 60 FTA channels from 5 degrees East. SES serves close to 13 million homes in Ukraine from this position, of which 4.5 million are DTH.
Commenting on the development, Norbert Hölzle, senior VP, Commercial Europe, SES Video, said: “We are very pleased that Viasat Ukraine has trusted us with the delivery of their video content.
