The Ubique platform from Teleste deployed by the Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska is now providing OTT and TV Everywhere, as well as IPTV and DVB services.
It is also giving subscribers access to advanced interactive services such as catch-up TV, nPVR, time shift, VOD and pause live TV, along with broadcast TV and interactive video service to KAON set-top boxes.
In addition, Ubique provides a common platform for servicing middlewares of ADB, Cubiware and Atende Software. Later this year, it will start to support Polsat set-top boxes and in the last stage also feed ADB boxes (with Carbo middleware).
In the case of Multimedia Polska, the components delivered by Teleste are fully integrated with the operator’s new and existing infrastructure and services. The platform is available on PCs, as well as for Android and iOS devices.
Multimedia Polska selected Teleste’s Ubique platform for a two-year project in 2016.
Teleste will highlight the Ubique software framework at stand 5.B68 at this year’s IBC.
