Amazon Channels adds Sport1 US and EDGEsport

Amazon has extended the sports offer on its OTT platform Amazon Channels in Germany and Austria with the addition of Sport1 US and EDGEsport.

Sport1 US shows US sports like NBA, NHL and MLB while the new channel EDGEsport targets the fans of action and extreme sports. Sport1 costs €4.99 per month, EGEsport €2.99 per month.

Both channels offer live and on-demand content in HD quality; the subscription can be cancelled monthly.

Recently, Eurosport Player joined Amazon Channels, showing live games of the Bundesliga and other sports.

Amazon Channels launched in Germany and Austria in May 2017. The streaming service is available to all customers of Amazon Prime which costs €69 per year.
