Chinese flat-panel display product manufacturer KTC and NetRange, a German provider of smart TV solutions, are joining forces.
By integrating the NetRange smart TV portal, KTC devices will be giving access to a global content portfolio in over 60 different languages including live channels, premium video-on-demand and Catch-up TV, music, sports, news, games and other services.
The cooperation will cover both Android and Linux platforms and will be available globally including Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
NetRange will not only deliver the smart TV app portal, but also parts of the software such as the NetRange web browser for Linux and an Android app portal launcher.
