The Czech Republic’s Digi TV has added the HD versions of channels Sport 1 
and Sport 2 to its basic package.
In a statement, it says that up until now they have only been available in the additional packages Sport, Sport Plus and Maxi, adding that it no longer offers SD versions of the two channels.
Digi TV also says that it will add two more channels – Cartoon Network and CNN – to its basic package in September.
Digi CZ is owned the Czech Republic’s Lama Energy Group and operates the DTH platform Nová Digi TV and IPTV service Digi2Go.
