United Group and Serbia Broadband (SBB) will launch a new generation TV platform named EON on September 5.
It will be available on all screens, including smartphones right from the start, and replace the existing D3GO service. A new EON digital receiver will also be introduced next year. SBB notes that the service will allow viewers in Serbia to watch TV via a smart TV app, on the latest generation TV sets.
Meanwhile, PCs users will be able to access the new service through all browsers, without the need for any additional software (plugins). For mobile devices, the EON app will be available through the App Store and Google Play Store.
SBB also says that EON’s feature will include seven- day catch-up, rather than the 72 hours previously offered.
This will be the longest period available anywhere in Serbia.
