The Netherlands is still the largest revenue contributor to the M7 Group with €159.6 million during 2016, down by 9.2% year-on-year.
In the Netherlands, M7 operates the DTH platform Canal Digitaal, as well as triple play fixed access service Online.nl. The company does not issue actual subscriber numbers, but says the number of homes connected “remains stable.”
The figures are published in Telecompaper, who based the story on M7 Group’s annual report recently deposited at the Luxembourg trade registry.
M7’s Skylink in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is the runner-up with €88.16 million growing 7.3% year-on-year.
Germany is the third largest market with €30.1 million after M7 Group completed the merger with M7 Deutschland, formerly Kabelkiosk during 2016.
Belgium comes fourth with €27.7 million in revenues decreasing by 3.1%. The company has two DTH platforms operational in the country, TV Vlaanderen in the Dutch speaking part and TeleSat in the French speaking part.
Austria is the sixth largest revenue source with €9.42 million from the AustriaSat operations, growing by 8.6% during 2016.
M7 Group reports revenues of €324.5 million for 2016, growing by 6.9% year-on-year due to the merger with M7 Deutschland taking place in the beginning 2016. At the same time, M7 reports a net loss of €13.98 million for 2016 compared with a net profit of €33.3 million in 2015.
