Mikolaj Nowak has been appointed the marketing and promotion director of Fokus TV and Nowa TV, two channels operated by Poland’s ZPR Media Group.
In his new role he will be responsible for the design and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies and strengthening the brands of both channels.
Nowak will report directly to Ewa Latkowska, the director of operations for ZPR Media Group’s TV division.
Commenting on the appointment, Latkowska said: “Mikolaj Nowak has several years experience working in sales and marketing in new media. For the past five years he has been involved with television, where he has edited information programmes and reports (including Fakty) for the new media age. He was also responsible for special projects and communication between the newsroom and internet. ZPR Media velives that this competence will allow Mikolaj Nowak to co-create a unique bridge between the workd of TV and the internet so that the communications in various media is coherent, attractive and offers more”.
Nowak satrted his professional career in 2005 by co-creating the first Polish social networking site Grono.net. He worked at Grupa Onet as a brand manager for community and communication between 2008-11 and in 2016-17 he was responsible for new media communication and promotion for the TVN24 BiS newsroom.
