Thorsten Braun will take over the position of General Manager Disney Channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in addition to his current role as Vice President & General Manager Disneymedia+ with immediate effect.
Braun replaces Lars Wagner who will work in the field of digital innovation for the Walt Disney Company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in future.
Braun who has been working for Disney since 2013 will now also be responsible for the whole Disney channel family comprising Disney Channel on free-to-air TV as well as pay-TV channels Disney Junior, Disney XD and Disney Cinemagic in German-speaking Europe in addition to the area of ad sales and promotions.
