TRT World is coming to TVPlayer, the OTT platform offering over 75 free-to-air and 30 pay channels to over one million monthly users in the UK.
Turkey’s Englsih langauge news platform TRT World is now available on the TVPlayer platform across desktop, mobile, tablet, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, and is part of the free to air package.
TRT World was launched in 2015 and is headquartered in Istanbul with four newsrooms located around the world.
“We strive to make TRT World available across all media outlets, and our partnership with TVPlayer, UK-based video streaming service will expand the free and open distribution of our content. We will continue to bring the news directly to our audience, wherever they are and in whichever way they prefer to receive it,” said ?brahim Eren, director general and chairman of TRT.
