German pay-TV channel sportdigital and DAZN, the OTT sports portal operated by UK-based Perform Group, have acquired the TV rights of first-division Portuguese football league Primeira Liga NOS in Germany.
The contract with sports rights agency Lagardère Sports covers the next three seasons; financial details were not disclosed.
Sportdigital will broadcast the games on conventional television and DAZN as live-streams. At least three matches will be screened live each week. Highlights will be shown from the remaining games.
Kick-off will be with the start of the new season on August 3, 2017.
