Eurosport 1 HD will launch on Austrian DTH satellite platform HD Austria on Astra (19.2° East) on August 1, 2017.
The sports channel will be available to all subscribers of the HD Austria and HD Austria Kombi package and transmit on the frequency 11.112 GHz H (SR 22,000, FEC 2/3).
The addition of Eurosport 1 HD is part of the new distribution contract signed by HD Austria’s operating company M7 Group and Eurosport’s parent company Discovery Networks in June 2017.
Discovery’s channels DMAX HD, TLC HD and Eurosport 2 SD also form part of HD Austria’s line-up.
