The date has been set for the start of hearings of the former ONO cable executive accused of murdering his mistress.
Richard Alden is accused of shooting Grace Kinyanjui at his home outside Nairobi. The 42-year-old died from a single gunshot wound, but Alden claims he was in a different room at the time.
It’s expected the next phase of the lengthy legal process will begin on September 25, though has already been postponed four times.
Under the Kenyan system the judge will then decide if she wants to hear from Alden himself.
