Nagra is introducing the OpenTV Signature Edition, a productised version of the OpenTV suite, combined with key services designed to give the consumer a compelling TV experience. The suite combines integrated recommendation services, metadata, voice and DRM.
Nagra took voting control of the San Francisco middleware company in 2006, but it took three years before it could call OpenTV its own, amid disquiet from shareholder activist groups.
