French digital services company Alchimie is launching ArtView, a SVOD service of 4K content dedicated to visual arts to complete its thematic service of slow TV, Moods.

ArtView offer hundreds of worldwide well-known art masterpieces. For the launch there are already close to 30 hours of original programmes divided into four main categories (Central Aisle, Myth Gallery, Drawing Room, Landscape Gallery ).

This new SVOD service offers access to a catalogue of over 200 masterpieces and art works (Van Gogh, Cezanne, Mannet or Boticelli and Durrel) associated with fantastic masterwork of classical music (by Bach, Mozart, Bizet). Thanks to 4K technology, ArtView gives to its subscribers the ability to watch with an unequalled precision the delicacy of the paintings exactly as if they were in front of the original painting. New paintings from all the main museum in the world will be added every week to this on-TV museum.

ArtView completes one of the original bouquets developed by Alchimie: Moods, which is gathering different channels in slow TV area and gives to its subscribers a very large variety of content, including landscapes, wild life nature, city vists and much more original and entertaining contents to be played on any screen in the home and outside.

Moods is an original SVOD service, available on any Android TV Box and on smart TVs, in France and in all part of the world.

“The launching of this 4K offer is a major step in the development of Alchimie. It will give to our client, content providers and producers the ability to benefit of a fully integrated expertise in the treatment, distribution and monetization of contents in Ultra High Definition,” commented Priscilla Siney, Chief Content Officer at Alchimie.

” This launching is only a first step, as Alchimie aims at developing a very large and qualitative catalog of 4K contents to be proposed on all the different platforms where we distribute and will distribute the contents of our content provider partners : digital platforms, telecom operators and device manufacturers.».
